Snow conditions

The snow at Steinplatte is still good in order to have the races there. The races will take place on the last part of tack number 9. More information about the track and how to reach it can be found on the Waidring Ski club dedicated webpage https://www.schiclub-waidring.at/2025/03/11/asceri-atomiade-2025-alpine-ski-races-at-steinplatte/.

To reach Steinplatte you can start from Seegatterl or from Waidrich ski station.

  • Seegaterl is closer to Reit im Winkl (6 km) but takes longer to reach Steinplatte, also the snow conditions to return to Seegatterl are not ideal.
  • Waidring is further away from Reit im Winkl (24 km) but takes you directly up to Steinplatte.

A map of the Steinplatte ski area can be found online: Bergbahn Steinplatte Map.

The snow in Chiemgau Arena has unfortunately melted and races have to be cancelled.
